Comark Releases EnduraPC™ NEMA
4X Enclosure for Standard PC’s
MEDFIELD, MA. — January
2, 2008 – Today
Comark Corporation announced the introduction of the
EnduraPC™, a cost effective stainless steel enclosure
designed to protect standard off-the-shelf computers
against the harsh environment of a production floor.
The EnduraPC provides
reliable performance in high temperatures, vibration,
and wash down environments. The NEMA 4X enclosure is
compatible with the leading brand (HP Thin Client, Dell
OptiPlex, etc.) small foot print desktop systems and
supports any standard 17”, 19”, and 19” wide
LCD monitor.
Features of the EnduraPC include optional touch screen
capability, front access for easy maintenance, hidden
cable design, 120W of thermal management at 40 °C,
painted steel finish, dual internal fans with thin-fin
heat exchanger plenum, and hard anodized aluminum heat
transfer design. The EnduraPC also
comes with a 4-position power strip with surge suppression
and breaker, silicone gasketing, and flexible mounting
and keyboard options.
“The EnduraPC is an economical solution for corporations wishing to deploy
computers in a harsh environment, but have corporate contracts or standards
in place to purchase office grade computers from suppliers such as Dell and
HP” commented Mike Riendeau, Industrial Automation Engineer at Comark
Corporation. “We have worked very hard to make this enclosure as sleek
as possible without compromising its effectiveness. The end result is an outstanding
product that has tremendous demand within the industrial automation industry.”
The EnduraPC is
available immediately for purchase. Customers may purchase
the enclosure pre-configured with computer and display
or install their own. For more information or to make
a purchase please contact Chris Kellogg at (508) 359-8161
