Comark Corporation Announces Availability of its 19” In-Wall, Building Alarm Touch PC
with UL 864 9th Edition and ULC-S527 Recognition
Medfield, MA, September 22, 2011 – Comark Corporation, a leader in the design and manufacture of life-safety rated computer and display solutions for the building automation market, announced today the availability of its UL 864 9th Edition Building Alarm Touch Computer. The UL 864 9th Edition specification meets the NFPA requirement for equipment installed in life safety applications, such as fire alarms, smoke control and mass notification systems. Testing was carried out by Underwriters Laboratories, in Northbrook, IL. It is also recognized as a control unit fire alarm system under Canadian standard ULC-S527.
The Building Alarm Touch PC incorporates a 19” wide LCD and comes standard with a SAW (Surface Acoustic Wave) touchscreen. This system is constructed of high durability steel and computing options include Intel i5, Intel i7, or ATOM N270 processors, with up to 8GB of system memory. It supports Windows, Linux and thin client operating systems. Typical applications include Alarm Monitoring, Fire Detection, and Security Monitoring.
