Are
you up for the challenge?
As a member of a product development team,
you will use your skills as a SolidWorks designer
to transform initial rough product designs using
computer aided design (CAD) into working documents.
You will review engineering drawings and designs
to ensure adherence to established specifications
and standards. Familiarity with a variety of the
field's concepts, practices, and procedures is
expected. You will rely on experience and judgment
to plan and accomplish goals to perform a variety
of complicated tasks. A wide degree of creativity
and latitude is expected.
To
meet the challenge you should possess the following
qualifications:
 Minimum
ASME, BSMET or 2 year Technical School
Minimum 2
years or equivalent experience
Proficiency
in SolidWorks
Experience
in design of sheet metal and machined parts
Industrial
Design and PhotoWork experience is a plus
Job responsibilities include:
Team
contribution in a fast paced environment
producing rapid proposals
Ensure
functionality, cost and delivery targets are
achieved
Design
for manufacturability and serviceability
Building/validating
prototypes and developing manufacturing procedures
ECO checking and signoff (your work and others)
